Our programs focus on housing, nutrition, and emergency assistance, all designed to uplift and support our community members in need.
The Impact of Your Donation
- $35: Provides supplemental meals for one person for a month.
- $40: Covers a week of meals for one person at our Soup Kitchen.
- $100: Funds four nights of shelter for someone in need.
- $250: On average, assists one person with costs ranging from $60 to $375.
- $500: Supports our mission of helping people help themselves.
Our Programs and Services
We operate 10 programs, including:
- Emergency Homeless Shelter: Offering safe refuge for those without a home.
- Permanent Supportive Housing for Families and Chronically Homeless Adults: Providing stable housing solutions.
- Section 8 Housing Assistance: Helping low-income families find affordable housing.
- Food Pantry: Allowing individuals and families to supplement their grocery budgets with monthly pickups.
- Soup Kitchen: Serving daily, nutritious meals to those in need.
- Weatherization Program: Assisting vulnerable individuals in reducing their energy bills.
- Emergency Closet through Seconds on the Avenue: Offering clothing, winter wear, furniture, and household items to those in need through a community thrift store.
- Emergency Medical/Dental Assistance Program: Providing essential medical and dental assistance, such as prescription medications and eyeglasses.
