For hundreds of families across Campbell County, the holiday season can be a time of uncertainty. Rising costs and daily pressures make it hard for many to make ends meet, let alone plan for a holiday meal. That’s why each year, the Council of Community Services comes together with generous partners and volunteers to make the season a little brighter. Our Christmas Basket Program provides over 600 holiday baskets filled with essentials and a special gift card from Albertsons, ensuring every family can enjoy a festive meal and the warmth of the season. The Christmas Basket Program would not be possible without the generosity of the community, volunteers, and Albertsons.
Your Impact: What a Christmas Basket Really Means
Imagine the joy and relief on a mother’s face as she receives a Christmas Basket, knowing she can share a special meal with her family. Or picture the pride in a volunteer’s heart, knowing they’ve helped spread holiday cheer to someone in need. Each Christmas Basket represents more than food; it’s a symbol of community, compassion, and hope. And it’s all made possible through the generosity of people like you.

Organize a Holiday Food Drive

Donate to Make Every Dollar Count
Not everyone has time to volunteer or host a food drive, but every contribution counts. A single dollar can go three times as far through our partnership with the Food Bank of Wyoming, making monetary donations incredibly impactful. Here’s how to give:
- Donate Online: Click here to donate directly to the Christmas Basket Program and leave a note that says "Christmas Baskets" to ensure your gift reaches this initiative.
- Mail or Drop Off a Check: Checks can be mailed or dropped off at our office: 114 S 4-J Rd, Gillette, WY 82716
(Be sure to write “Christmas Baskets” on your check.)
