Meeting Growing Needs in 2024
As we head toward the end of the year, we’re reflecting on the lives changed through our programs and looking ahead to the challenges that remain.
This year, we’ve served more community members in need than ever before. Your support has been crucial in helping individuals and families climb back to stability, often after facing tremendous loss. From January to July, our Homeless Shelter averaged 951 stays per month. By August, this number surged to 1,220 stays—a 4% increase that costs an additional $6,700 each month.
At the same time, support from Feeding America is down over $23,000, even as demand grows across every service we provide. To continue meeting our community’s needs, we are aiming to raise $80,000 by the end of the year. Here’s how your contribution can make a difference:

237 Stays Weekly- $100 = 4 Nights | $200 = 8 Nights | $500 = 20 Nights
- Support the Soup Kitchen
665 Meals Served Weekly- $100 = 17 Meals | $200 = 33 Meals | $500 = 84 Meals
- Support the Food Pantry
56 Families Visit Weekly- $100 = 3 Families | $200 = 6 Families | $500 = 14 Families
Your end-of-year donation will make a measurable difference, bridging the gap and providing critical resources for the most vulnerable members of our community. Together, we can continue providing safe shelter, warm meals, and essential food pantry support for those facing hardship.
How to Give
Making a donation is easy and flexible. Now through December 31st, you can donate online or via check to the Council of Community Services (114 S 4-J Road, Gillette, WY 82716).
As a reminder, 100% of all donations we receive stay right here in Campbell County. Know that your contribution will help your struggling neighbors, friends, and community members that you may see every day.
